It was a scene straight out of a movie. The royal couple arrives; the waiting cameras go into a frenzied tizzy; journalists throw questions, diplomatic answers are given and the royal couple along with their entourage is swept away before you can blink an eye. And that’s exactly what happened last evening at the Taj Mahal Hotel.
Arriving a good 30 minutes after schedule, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Haakon and Princess Mette-Marit of Norway looked every bit the royal couple as they posed for photographs against the Gateway of India with a crimson sky for company. The royal couple is currently on its first official visit to India.
